Spray & Wash Mop - A Long-Reach Window Washer With Built-In Cleaner Spray
This student was working alone. She's shy, but she's probably one of the best writers in all my classes.
Spiked Shirt
This one went in a weird direction. The invention is a shirt with spikes on it (the students actually made a full-sized model of this shirt out of paper and clay that they wore during the presentation). The original idea, as it was explained to me, was that it would be so uncomfortable that it would keep one awake (even during class!) and could also be used on the bus to keep others from crowding you.
In their commercial, however, they use it fend off some sort of male attacker. I was a little apprehensive about posting this one, because it makes light of a subject that can be quite serious. But, I figured seeing the students make something like this might be informative in its own right. I'm not sure WHAT that says about the psyche of a Korean high school student, but there it is.

This group's presentation was one of the better ones. This group was the winner for the Middle School class (for which they were awarded Lotteria Gift Certificates).
USB Phone - A Phone That Can Play Movies From Thumb Drives
This group was the winner for the 1st Grade High School class. I'm honestly not sure why this invention doesn't already exist.
